Kumbasari art market and Badung traditional market is connected with one big bridge and 2 small bridges that lies crossing those two locations. These bridges also being uses as the place for small reseller to sell their products. 

Under these bridges lies down Tukad Badung (Badung River) that used to be the road for the dutch colonial army when they move from Pemecutan, Denpasar during the Puputan Badung War, in September 1906. Recently, this riverside has been renovated into riverwalk, and design with korean style.

 Denpasar Major, Ida Bagus Rai Dharmawijaya Mantra said that this is the beginning to revitalize the traditional concept. He also wants to provide these places with family recreation facilities such as gondolas along the river.

River walk concept also refer to educate the people to be a part of cleanliness campaign, this campaign should change the riverside that used to be smelly and dirty and full of trashes into a clean and neat spot.

 The riverside now is available for walk, they put nice and patterned blocks on the right and left side starting from under the Gajahmada street towards under the bridge in Jalan Hasanuddin. There are more than 10.000 fries has been spread out along the river, to make this river healthier. 

In some spot, this park also equipped with water sprays and fountain. The slogan of this park is Denpasar, my town and my home. Dont worry to find a spot to sit because there are so many chairs have been built there with a bright color. Reliefs that put in the wall also describe the people of bali who did their daily offerings, dancings, and prayings.
